According to a recent report by mobile analytics firm Flurry, China is surpassing the U.S. as the world's largest market for active smart devices, which account for 246 million active Android and iOS smartphones and tablets at the end of February of 2018, compared with 230 million in the U.S. With its 1.3 billion population making daily searches through Baidu, and hundreds of millions communicate via WeChat, the Internet is fundamentally altering the fabric of daily life in China.

China is also in the midst of its own approach in digital revolution. Until now, China’s Internet has been largely consumer-focused. But that is about to change as the Internet penetrates more deeply across major sectors of the economy. Andrew T. Leung


Andrew Leung was the Head Representative of Beijing office at Applied Materials, where he was responsible for government affairs, strategy planning and industry collaboration program. Andrew is recognized in the clean energy and information technology industry, which he was the elected Trade and Investment Chair of US Information and Technology Office (USITO), and one of founding WG co-Chairs of US-China Energy Cooperation Program (ECP), a bilateral initiative created by US President Obama and China President HU in 2009
Prior to his professional career in Mainland China, Andrew has led several spin-offs, technology transfer and licensing projects in Taiwan China, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong. He was a co-founder of a B2C brick and mortar startup acquired by Popular Holdings in Singapore, and created the first artificial muscle testing prototype at Philips Redhill (UK) and Philips Natlab. Andrew obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia, MS from Imperial College London and international MBA from Tsinghua/MIT Sloan program. He was a UK Government Chevening Scholar (CTES) that has visited and trained at London Business School and Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), Cambridge University

Rudra Trivedi

Business Development and Partnership

Rudra Trivedi is an innovation junkie based out of Mumbai, India with a varied background ranging from basic formulation research in cancer treatment to the deployment of gamification and virtual reality in pharmaceutical manufacturing. He is also passionate about giving back to the society and has worked with HIV positive women in Rwanda, helping them create sustainable livelihoods.
He is the youngest member on our team, responsible for collaborating with academic institutions as well as Industry partners, to create strategic alliances for kyuker. Rudra has a Bachelors in Pharmacy from Gujarat Technological University, a Masters in pharmacy and a MBA from NMIMS University, Mumbai.

Evi Li

Business Operations and Human Resources

Evi Li was the Sales Operation Manager in Applied Materials China, where she was looking after sales process for business with annual revenue over 1.4 billion USD in new energy and Display groups. Prior to Applied Materials, Evi spent two years working as Assistant to General Manager in a major international trading company in midland UK
Evi received her MSc in Human Resource Management and Organizational Analysis from King’s College London in 2007, before which BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University

Jiang Wu

Partner, Strategy and Finance

Jiang Wu has +15 years’ experience in corporate strategy, M&A, strategic & venture capital investments and project finance for fortunate 500 companies (GE/Alstom, Ingesoll Rand, Eastment Chemical and Intel Capital) in China, UK and the US. She was instrumental in winning the bids for £300 million UK and EU grants and obtaining £200 million equity from China for one of the largest energy projects in UK with total investments of £1.8 billion
